Colorful Fused Glass Millefiori Necklace
I made this unique millefiori glass pendant by fusing many tiny millefiori glass pieces between a base layer of black Moretti glass and a clear layer on top - like a little glass sandwich! The sterling silver ring is fused right into the glass so there is no glue involved.
I was fortunate to be able to go to the glass factory in Murano where the millefiori was made. They wouldn't let me see them being made - top secret - but I was able to bring back some bags of the millefiori pieces so that I could create my own little Italian jewels.
Necklace will be shipped in a small grey gift box with a silver elastic band.
Pendant hangs 1-1/4" by a sterling silver bail
18" black leather cord and clasp
